Our museum educator shares how money was invented and why it looks the way it does. You’ll get to think about why we need money, how much things cost and what you would like to save money for. The activities are based on the activity book Vi pratar pengar by Jan Magnusson and Susanne Nordqvist. The authors will be at the museum to lead the activities on Saturday 24 and 31 October.
We’ll also take a closer look at the secrets hidden in our banknotes. Using magnifying glasses and UV lamps, you can discover hidden images and messages that can’t be seen with the naked eye.
Tip!
Why not also visit the Swedish History Museum, which is included in your admission ticket, and stop for lunch or a fika at our restaurant, Rosengården.
