In December 2023, Claudia Goldin, Henry Lee Professor of Economics at Harvard University, was in Stockholm to receive the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel. On this occasion, she delivered a lecture on the topic “Why Women Won” at the Economy Museum.
Erika Lanner, Director of the Nobel Prize Museum, extended a warm welcome. Following Claudia Goldin’s lecture, there was a Q&A session moderated by Professor Maria Stanfors.
The lecture was organized by: the Economy Museum, Nobel Prize Museum, Stockholm University, Swedish Women’s Lobby, FemEk – Economic Think Tank of the Swedish Women’s Movement, Swedish Economic Association and Ownershift.
